Konsus Kalisz won Polish Premiere League 2012

 The Polish Premiere League took place in Łódź between 9th and 12th of May 2012. CONSUS Kalisz (Krzysztof Buras, Jarosław Cieślak, Dominik Filipowicz, Tomasz Krysztofiak, Marian Kupnicki, Leszek Majdański, Janusz Makaruk, Krzysztof Martens, Grzegorz Narkiewicz, Paweł Niedzielski, Piotr Walczak, Jan Zadroga, Piotr Żak, Jerzy Zaremba) beat ASKO-TECH Spójnia Warszawa in the final (Piotr Bizoń, Konrad Araszkiewicz, Bartosz Chmurski, Jarosław Baran, Krzysztof Kotorowicz, Dariusz Kowalski, Jacek Kalita, Mariusz Puczyński).

In the semi-final CONSUS beat KS WINKHAUS UNIA Leszno (Rafał Jagniewski, Bogusław Pazur, Marcin Krupowicz, Michał Kwiecień, Sławomir Zawiślak, Marek Wójcicki), which ended up third overall. It is interesting to note that ASKO-TECH beat in the quarter-final the team of superstars RUCH S.A. – AZS POLITECHNIKA Wrocław (which features amongst others Cezary Balicki, Aleksander Dubinin, Andriej Gromow, Krzysztof Jassem, and Adam Żmudziński).

The most exciting segment was the semifinal between CONSUS and UNIA. In this hand a remarkable number of IMPs was exchanged.
