Italian trials for 2012 World Mind Sports Games: Finals

The Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB) advertised a competition to designate the Open and Women teams that will represent Italy at the 2012 World Mind Sports Games. This weeked (January 27-29, 2012) the final matches will be played in Salsomaggiore (Parma) starting today afternoon.

Associato Allegra Lavazza and Zaleski Bridge Breno are the two finalists in Open category; Br. Laveno Mombello Bernasconi and Genova Bridge Martellini in Women’s category.

Sunday evening we will know the winners.

He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
