The Festival of Juan les Pins is one of the four events of the Festival du Soleil, the other three are Avignon, Cannes, La Grand Motte. All these beautiful town are in Provence, the sunny land of France, all but Avignon are on the Mediterranean sea. Juan les Pins is at 62nd edition (started in 1949), one of the oldest tourney in Europe.

The mixed pairs enrolled 158 pairs; after the first day, then after one third of the
tourney, Mme and Mr Rieusset are leading (Christine and Bernard), followed by Marlene and Michel Douguet; third trail Sigrid Castellsague Florenti with his husband Norberto Bocchi. The first fifteen pairs are:

In 12th and 13th place there are Lauria and Versace: the former plays with his wife Cristiana Morgantini, the latter with Monica Cuzzi.
14th Claire and Paul Seguineau,
15th Nicole Curetti and Jean Le Poder.
In 22th place, but still running with 59%, there are Maria Teresa Lavazza and Giorgio Duboin. Other important Italians, Guido Ferraro, Debora Campagnano, are in lower position.
