BridgeTopics.com is an online bridge magazine founded by Jan van Cleeff, The Netherlands. It publishes theory (‘Topics’) and daily news on bridge. BridgeTopics.com also features the Grand Tour, a world wide ring of bridge tournaments and festivals and a bi-weekly Poll, where readers can vote and share their opinions on bridge theory and politics.

In the news section, BridgeTopics.com provides for bridge news from all over the world. In the Topics section BridgeTopics.com publishes a topic on an important subject of modern bridge theory.

These topics are easy to implement in almost any system. All topics are edited by Eric Rodwell, the multiple world bridge champion from the USA. Rodwell is also seen as the world’s leading bridge theorist over the last four decades. Access to the Topics is possible by way of a Topic subscription (6 or 12 months). Most topics are written by Eric and some by guest authors. The topic of this month (Topic # 07) is devoted to Lauria’s Gazzilli version.

Gazzilli is a new way of limiting opening hands. (read Gazzilli’s convention on Neapolitan Club >>).

Lorenzo Lauria, one of the best players in bridge history, is happy to share his version on Bridgetopics.com. The essay entitled “Gazzilli à la Lauria” and a short audio interview to Lorenzo will be published on Tuesday, March 15th 2011.
