Martin Fleisher announced on Bridgewinners.com that he have hired Michael Rosenberg and Chris Willenken. Beginning with the 2012 Spingold, Rosenberg and Willenken will be joining the FLEISHER team. The complete roster of the team well be: Fleisher – Kamil, Martel- Stansby and Rosenberg – Willenken.
The new pair will replace Levin- Weinstein now hired by Nickell.
Michael Rosenberg is one of the top bridge players in the United States: in the past he partnered with Bob Hamman and Zia Mahmood. He wrote the famous book “Bridge, Zia, and me” and is an appreciate contributor for “The Bridge World”.
Also Chris Willenken is one of the best player in the world, paired in the past with most of the best American sponsors.
By making the announcement Martin Fleisher launches ironically the gauntlet to Nickell and his former teammates. (lol)
