Fantunes play for Monaco at Bonn Nations Cup 2011

Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes are in Monaco Team at 26th edition of Bonn Nations Cup 2011. They play with the sponsor Pierre Zimmermann and together with Frank Multon and Tor Helness. (Geir Helgemo, partner of Helness, is busy in Norway for the championships right now). The Zimmermann’s project to build a strong team was presented in January by Jean Charles Allavena, president of Monaco’s Federatione.

Fantoni and Nunes already before January took up residence in Monaco, as the two Norvegians and the same Helness, in a long interview released to the magazine Bridge I Norge, depicted the details of the project that will bear the Zimmermann Team to 2012 European Championship and to 2013 Bermuda Bowl under Monaco’s flag.

The of Bonn Nations Cup 2011 is played on June 1st and 2nd in the Stadthalle of Bonn-Bad Godesberg. There are sixteen National teams parted in two groups of eight teams each:

Belgium, Denmark, England, Estonia, Ireland, Israel (last year’s edition winner), Monaco, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Turkey, Germany I and II Germany (Bonn).

Italy is not represented as national;  Fantoni and Nunes are the only Italian players.
