The Biarritz International Bridge Festival takes place at Bellavue Congress Centre in Biarritz (France) from Friday, June 28 2013 to Wednesday, July 10 2013. The Festival in recent years has become one of the most famous in France thanks to its rich program and the participation of international top players.
Lavazza, one of official sponsors of the event, has two teams: Lavazza (Maria Teresa Lavazza, Duboin, Ferraro, Sementa) and Lavazza 2 (Giuseppe Lavazza, Bocchi, Brenner, Madala).
The mixed pairs tournament has been completed on Sunday June 30 with the victory of a pair from Portugal: Sofia Pessoa and Paulo Gonçalves Pereira.
Since yesterday the Open Teams Tournament is underway. After this event, there will be the Open Pairs Tournament.
