The National Court of Arbitration for Sport (CONI – Italian Olympic Committee)  has canceled the second  hearing previously established at 4,oo pm of November 9, 2011. As it is known, Francesco Angelini appealed to the National Court of Arbitration for Sport  against the Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB).  The matter of appeal was the statement of November 30,  2010 by which the CNG (National Tournament Committee) disqualified Angelini Team from 2010 Club Team Championship (Campionato Societario).

As our readers can remember, Angelini’s Team was disqualified because they lined up three foreign players not dwelling in Italy, the Norwegian Geir Helgemo, Tor Helness, Boye Brogeland. But Angelini appealed to CONI’s Tribunal.

The first hearing at the Tribunal was held on June 14, 2011. The second hearing has been fixed only a few days ago:  and now the Tribunal has canceled the hearing scheduled for tomorrow, reserving further action.
