leggi in italiano »

A never-ending Italian story.  The second hearing has been held today: The TNAS (National Court of Arbitration for Sport of CONI – Italian Olympic Committee) after hearing the parties, granted to both time to submit a pleading or a reply, reserving the fixing of the next hearing.  As it is known, Francesco Angelini appealed to the National Court of Arbitration for Sport  against the Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB).  The matter of appeal was the statement of November 30,  2010 by which the CNG (National Tournament Committee) disqualified Angelini Team from 2010 Club Team Championship (Campionato Societario).

Angelini’s Team was disqualified because they lined up three foreign players not dwelling in Italy, the Norwegian Geir Helgemo, Tor Helness, Boye Brogeland.

The first hearing at the Tribunal was held on June 14, 2011.
