2nd World Youth Bridge Congress: Roll of Honour

2nd World Youth Bridge Congress,  Opatija, Croatia – 2011, August 21 -30. With the Pairs event the curtain falls on 2thWorld Youth Bridge Congress. Yesterday Berend van den Bos and Joris van Lankveld (The Netherlands) won the pairs world title: They already won the teams championships with Aarnout Helmich and Gerbrand Hop (Ned juniors). There is a bit of Italy in the Roll of Honour:  Flavia Lanzuisi and Margherita Chavarria are third in Junior Pairs final B event.

Gold: Netherlands Juniors: Berend van den Bos, Joris van Lankveld, Aarnout Helmich and Gerbrand Hop (NED), npc Kees Tammens.

Silver: Argentina-Uruguay: Maximo Crusizio, Felipe José Ferro, Alejandro Scanavino (ARG) and Rodrigo García da Rosa (URU).

Bronze: Netherlands-Rumania: Bob Drijver (playing captain), Ernst Wackwitz (NED), Marius Agica (USA) and Radu Nistor (ROU).

Gold: Vicky’s Vikings: Harald Eide, Kristian Ellingsen, Kristoffer Hegge and Kristian Stangeland (NOR).

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
