The Polish Bridge Union (PBU) posted the followings:
In connection with the WBF decision to award Poland the place in the Open World Team Championships in China, the Board determines that the promotion of the Open team to the top eight in the Open European Championship in Turkey entitles the team to play in the Open World Team Championships in China (Bermuda Bowl, September 2019) . If the team arrives in the top 32 at the championships in Turkey, it will have the right to challenge the team proposed by the Selection Committee.
