John Hurd and Justin Lall won the Kaplan Blue Ribbon Pairs in Providence. Second place went to Nicolay Demirev and Eldad Ginossar. Third place went to Dennis Bilde and Matt Granovetter.
The Kaplan Blue Ribbon Pairs is held at the Fall NABC and is played over three days: and includes two qualifying, two semifinal and two final sessions.
It’s considered one of the most prestigious and toughest pair events on the ACBL calendar and it’s named after Edgar Kaplan (1925-1997), one of bridge’s all-time great players.
The 2014 Fall NABC (North American Bridge Championships) are undrway in Providence (Rhode Island, Usa) from November 27 to December 7, 2014.
