2014 Fall NABC: Gromov won the Mitchell Open Bam Teams

2014 Mitchell Open BAM WinnersThe Russian-Polish team captained by Andrew Gromov (with Grzegorz Narkiewicz, Krzysztof Buras, Michal Nowosadzki, Jacek Kalita and Aleksander Dubinin) won the Mitchell Open BAM Teams in Providence.

Second place went to the team captained by Michael Kamil with Stan Tulin, Gary Cohler, Billy Cohen, Dror Padon and Alon Birman.

Third place went to the team captained by Allan Graves with Richard Schwartz, Lotan Fisher, Espen Lindqvist, Ron Schwartz, and Boye Brogeland.

The Mitchell Open Board-a-Match Teams is held at the Fall NABC: It’s a four-session event that consists of two qualifying and two final sessions. It is named after Victor “Vic” Mitchell, one of the greatest American champion.

The 2014 Fall NABC (North American Bridge Championships) are undrway in Providence (Rhode Island, Usa) from November 27 to December 7, 2014.

[The final ranking given by official bulletin has been changed and the updated scores provided by the official ACBL website are not definitive yet: due to some adjustments, the final oucomes could change again. ]
