2013 White House Junior Internationals: Semi-finals

carrousel_cup8th White House Junior Internationals, Amsterdam (The Netherlands) March 17-22, 2013. Yesterday the qualifying Round Robin has been completed. The top four teams move to the semi-finals sheduled for today Thursday, March 21.

The semi-finals consists of three sessions of 14 boards, the winner is the teams that scores the most imps in 42 boards. In case of an exact draw there will be played two additional boards.

Netherlands Red won the qualifying Round Robin with Joris van Lankveld-Jamilla Spangenberg, Ernst Wackwitz -Chris Westerbeek, Joris van Lankveld-Berend van den Bos.

Argentina is second with a transnational team: Maximo Crusizio -Rodrigo Garcia da Rosa (Argentina) e Kristoffer Hege-Kristian Stangeland (Norwey).

Third place for Hungary with Csaba Konkoly – Barna Szirmay-Kalos, Zsolt Wagner – Brigitta Fischer.

Fourth place for France with Julien Bernard, Alexandre Kilani, Fabrice Charignon, Clément Laloubeyre and Grégoire Lafont.

The semi-finlas matches are:

Netherlands Red – Hungary

Argentina – France

The final will be played tomorrow, Friday, March 22.

The winners will be awarded with the Carrousel Cup.
