The weekend of January 14 and 15th 2012 will be big time at the TGR’s. By then the renowned London bridge club will be the host of the third Annual Auction Pairs. The event will take place at the New Cavendish hotel near Marble Arch at the very center of the City of London, UK. Due to widely spread interest from all over the bridge world it is likely that the £ 52,000 prize pool from 2011 will be substantially beaten.

The pairs are rolling in and the stars are getting brighter and brighter. With so many great pairs and players it is difficult to mention any in particular. The organization is happy to welcome again Sabine Auken, Zia Mahmood who plays every day at TGRs when in London, Boye Brogeland and two of England’s great players Tony Forrester and Andrew Robson. To add to our already star-studded list of players we are delighted that for the first time the charismatic Jan Jansma will be playing together with other stars of world champion The Netherlands, Michel Bessis who joined us for our first Auction Teams, together with TGRs stars Maurice Esterson winner of the AuctionTeams, Thor- Erik Hoftaniska, Janet de Botton and of course Artur Malinowski, the host. All together the event is expected to exceed 50 pairs, many of them being world class.
