Leslie Amoils and his team-mates, Curtis Cheek, Joe Grue, Darren Wolpert, Ishmael Delmonte, and Thomas Bessis are the winners of the 2012 edition of the Vanderbilt Cup. They in final defeated Diamond by 138-88 (+8; +38; +11; -7). Amoils, Cheek, Del Monte, and Grue were also runners up in the 2011 edition, being defeated from Fleisher.
The next American important event are now the Trials, to be held in the Hyatt Regency hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois, from 27 to 29 of April. Joe Grue and Curtis Cheek there will play in the Warren Spector’s Team.
