2012 European Championships: Italian teams have been submitted

2012 European Championships: Yesterday Italian teams rosters have been submitted. Open: Norberto Bocchi, Giorgio Duboin, Lorenzo Lauria, Agustin Madala, Antonio Sementa, Alfredo Versace, Maria Teresa Lavazza (not playing captain) e Massimo Ortensi (coach). Women: Caterina Ferlazzo, Cristina Golin, Gabriella Manara, Gabriella Olivieri, Simona Paoluzi, Ilaria Saccavini, Giancarlo Bernasconi (not playing captain) e Dano De Falco (coach).  Seniors: Andrea Buratti, Franco Caviezel, Franco Cedolin, Amedeo Comella, Carlo Mosca (player and coach), Antonio Vivaldi e Giancarlo Bernasconi (not playing captain).

The 51st edition of the European Bridge Team Championships will be held in Citywest Hotel, Dublin, Ireland, from 12 to 23 June 2012. As usual, the Championships comprise three series – for Open, Women and Senior national teams.

Italy has won most gold medals in the open series, while England and France prevail in the women, and France and Poland head the seniors.

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
