April 19, 2011 – Wuxi Jangsu (China). The last five rounds of the qualifying  turn have been played.  At the end of the second day, after 100 boards,  the first verdicts came, bittersweet for Italian teams. The team of Maria Teresa Lavazza (Duboin, Sementa Bocchi, Madala) confirms the expectations and finishes in first place. Disappointment for Romain Zaleski (with Giubilo, Lauria, Versace) that slides in the twentieth position.

Access to the next stage (ko group) is reserved to the first 7 teams of the qualifying rounds, plus the team of  sponsors Mr. Yeh. The top 8 teams (including Mr Yeh’s team) will advance to the double knock-out (bracket A) group. The 9-16 teams will advance to the single knock-out (bracket B) group.
