2011 French Team Championship: Division Nationale Open I (DNOI). The French Championship is held in three week-end, with twelve teams playing each other in eleven rounds of 26 hands: the dates are: 1-2 of October (four rounds); 5-6 and 19-20 of November (four and three rounds). The first four teams will play semi-finals and final in January. These are the twelve top teams: Zimmermann, Laffineur, Cronier, Vinay, Piganeau, Fleury, Allix, Doussot, Chemla, Payen, Salliere, Tardy. There are only two Italians: Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes, in Pierre Zimmermann’s Team.

After three rounds, Payen led 67 VPs over Zimmermann and Tardy (both with 51), and Fleury (50).

In the fourth round, Fleury defeated Payen 16-14 meanwhile Zimmermann beat Vinay 22-8. Payen holds the first place (81), but Zimmermann is not far (73). Tardy gives way against Doussot (4-25), so the latter climbs the third place (69). Fourth is now Sallere (67), and fifth is Fleury (66).
