17th Madeira International Bridge Open 2014: Winners

Madeira 2014 winnersThe team DAS AUTOBAHN (Dennis Bilde, Mads Eyde, Nedju Buchlev, Sebastian Reim) won the Open Teams Tournament in Madeira. Second place went to DREAM TEAM 17 (Nuno Matos, Carlos Luiz, Rodrigo Martins Soares, Miguel Teixeira, Nuno Paz, Reinaldo Timóteo); and third came the team MULTON (Kiki Ward-Platt, Frank Multon, Peter Bertheau, Jessica Hayman). This tournament was run on 12 rounds of 8 boards each.

Michael Gromöller and Helmut Häusler from Germany won the Open Pairs Tournament. Second place went to Sabina Grzejdziak and Igor Grzejdziak; third came Claus Günther and Christian Schlicker.

The 17th Madeira International Bridge Open was held from November 3rd – 9th, 2014 at at the Vidamar Resorts in Madeira (Portugal).

Silvio Sbarigia

 

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
