10th European Champions’ Cup – Bad Honnef, Germany: Round 2/5

The 10th European Champions’ Cup is underway. Yesterday Mr Ulrich Wenning, President German Bridge Federation (DBV), gave the inaugural speech during the Opening Ceremony wishing good luck to all partecipants. After 2 rounds of 5 Itlay (Lavazza – Torino) leads Group B and Poland (Auguri Warsaw) leads Group A. Giorgio Duboin and Antonio Sementa are at the top of Butler ranking. Today the Round Robin will be completed.

The official bulletin is directed by Jan van Cleeff, exectuive Vice-President of IBPA (International Bridge Press Association) and Publisher of the popular online magazine BridgeTopics.com.

He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
