10th European Champions’ Cup – Bad Honnef, Germany 17th – 20th November 2011. The Semifinals have been completed. Onstein 1 (The Netherlands) defeated Vito (Bulgaria) and Allegra Lavazza (Italy) defeated Karlsruhe (Germany). Today the finals. In final A The Netherlands (Onstein 1) will play against Italy (Allegra Lavazza – Torino). The winner Team will receive the title of European Champion Club as well as the right to participate in the next edition.
The Onstein 1 team is the defending champion and the players – Bas Drijver, Sjoert Brink, Bauke Muller, Simon De Wijs – are the 2011 World Champions (Bermuda Bowl winners) in Veldhoven, where Italian players – Norberto Bocchi, Giorgio Duboin, Agustin Madala, Antonio Sementa- won the Bronze Medal with Italian Team.
In Veldhoven the Dutch defetaed Blue Team in semifinal. Bas Drijver just after the semi-finals in Bad Honnef said: “Finally a final against the Italians”.
